The Mother’s Plea: Five First Saturdays Devotion

Would like to:

  • make a difference with your life and help bring healing to the world?
  • grow closer to Our Lord?
  • respond to the urgent plea from Our Blessed Mother for the benefit of mankind?

In 1917, with Europe mired in a deadly war, Mary appeared to three children in Portugal over a period of six months with a simple yet earnest request. These apparitions, the most recent apparition of Mary officially recognized by the Catholic Church, culminated with a miracle experienced by 70,000 people. The response by the Church eventually led to profound effects in world history. However, the message of Fatima (unknown to many Catholics today) is more than history: 102 years later, the need to hear and answer Mary’s requests remains urgent.

St. Mary’s parishioners are cordially invited to attend a session describing this apparition of Our Lady of Fatima and the observance of the First Five Saturdays devotion. Join us in the Aquinas Room at 9am on Saturday, May 4 where Brenda Schwartz of the World Apostolate of Fatima will give a presentation on Our Lady of Fatima, and then lead us in a rosary. We hope to see you there!
