Become Catholic (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the Church’s process for welcoming adults into the Catholic faith by instructing and preparing them for a full and active life in the Church as disciples of Jesus.

We welcome adults who have never been baptized and those who have been baptized in another Christian tradition and wish to become Catholic. Join us on Wednesdays 7-9pm in the parish library and learn more about the possibility of becoming Catholic.

Following the completion of RCIA, the Sacraments are received at the Easter Vigil.

To learn more about RCIA or to enroll, contact Gabrielle Merritt at or 541-224-1895.

By his taking flesh and coming among us, Jesus has touched us, and through the Sacraments he continues to touch us even today; transforming our hearts, he unceasingly enables us to acknowledge and acclaim him as the Son of God. — Pope Francis, Lumen Fidei
