The OSU Newman’s 2026 Winter Term Lecture will be presented by Jim Bertrand: “Do We Have the Burial Cloth of Jesus? What Science Has to Say About the Shroud of Turin”. This lecture will be held on Thursday, February 26th, at 5:15pm in Milam Auditorium at the OSU campus. This event is co-sponsored by St. Mary’s and the OSU Newman Center.
Jim Bertrand taught high school science for 39 years and has a Master’s Degree in Education. He is an affiliate of the Turin Shroud Center headed by Dr. John Jackson in Colorado Springs.
Bertrand has been invited to give this presentation across 47 dioceses and 29 states in the past 10 years. His mission is to provide factual information on the Shroud of Turin.
